The California Evidence Based Clearinghouse (www.cachildwelfareclearinghouse.org) has recently summarized information, across program categories, based on achievement of the highest scientific rating. These six programs are listed on the attached pdf. All of these have a relevance rating of 2 (see below) except Trauma Foused-CBT, which gets the highest rating of 1 (i.e., the program was designed, or is commonly used, to meet the needs of children, youth, young adults, and/or families receiving child welfare services.)
Relevance, 2 - Medium (The program was designed, or is commonly used, to serve children, youth, young adults, and/or families who are similar to child welfare populations (i.e., in history, demographics, or presenting problems) and likely include current and former child welfare services recipients).
I do believe that each of these programs is now undergoing implementation with child welfare populations and this may, ultimately, change the relevancy ratings (but it could also change the effectiveness ratings if these programs are not as successful with child welfare populations as they were under development with other groups).
