I am sorry you have not found the help you need for your son through mainstream resources.  Please visit the Feingold website and consider trying the Feingold Program.  According to Zeisel SH(Advances in Pediatrics 1986;33:23-47), "Diet clearly influences neurotransmission. ...  Given that there is little potential for harm and that there is a subpopulation that may respond, a trial of a diet that contains no food additives may be a valid diagnostic approach for children with attention deficit disorder who do not respond to stimulant therapy or for children for whom stimulant therapy is not desired...." 

More recently, the AAP Grand Rounds, February 2008, has said pretty much the same thing - you can see that at our website at  http://www.feingold.org 

I will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the Program and its implementation.  My son's story is the one at top of the home page to the left of the mouse picture.</description>
